Hadiographs
These works, I call hadiographs, are based on my aerial photographs of Hokkaido Japan, a land of volcanos, geysers, earthquakes and snow. The ground in Hokkaido isn’t something to just walk on. It’s animate and very much alive.
These are unique pieces constructed from gold toned gelatin silver, graphite, watercolor and gampi paper and mounted on 8-ply mat board.
